By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Disclaimer, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

1. Purpose of the Website

The website is not affiliated with or endorsed by T.L. Hanna High School, Anderson School District Five, the South Carolina High School League, or any other school or athletic organization.

2. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted. Your continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the website for lawful personal, educational, historical-research, journalistic, and noncommercial purposes.

Unless otherwise stated, you may:

  • browse and search publicly available pages;
  • share links to website pages;
  • cite individual facts with appropriate source attribution;
  • quote brief portions of original articles for commentary, criticism, education, or reporting when legally permitted; and
  • print or save a reasonable number of pages for personal, noncommercial reference.

Any permission granted by these Terms may be revoked if the website is used unlawfully or in violation of these Terms.

4. Prohibited Use

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit original website articles, photographs, graphics, designs, code, or other protected content;
  • copy or download a substantial portion of the website or its compiled presentation;
  • systematically scrape, crawl, harvest, extract, mirror, or aggregate website content using bots, scripts, automated tools, or manual bulk-copying methods;
  • use the website to create or populate a competing commercial database, publication, product, or service;
  • remove copyright, attribution, source, or ownership notices;

  • use website content to harass, threaten, exploit, or improperly target a player, student, coach, contributor, or other person;
  • submit information that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, invasive of privacy, or infringing; or
  • use the website for any unlawful purpose.

Ordinary indexing by generally available public search engines is permitted, provided that such indexing complies with applicable technical instructions, including any robots.txt rules.

5. Intellectual Property

Original website material

Original articles, commentary, graphics, photographs, page designs, branding, software, and other original expressive material created for Hanna Football may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other applicable law.

The original selection, coordination, organization, and presentation of the website’s compiled information may also be protected.

Facts and third-party material

Hanna Football does not claim exclusive ownership of underlying historical facts, game scores, publicly reported statistics, player names, or other information that is not legally protectable.

School names, team names, logos, mascots, photographs, newspaper content, source materials, and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.

Displaying third-party material does not transfer ownership of that material to Hanna Football or to website users.

6. Data Sources and Attribution

Information may be obtained from or compared against newspapers, yearbooks, game programs, school publications, broadcasts, historical archives, public records, personal collections, ExceedingStats.com, and other sources.

The inclusion of information from a source does not necessarily mean that the source sponsors, approves, or is affiliated with Hanna Football.

Users remain responsible for complying with the terms and intellectual-property rights associated with any original source they access through a website link or citation.

7. Corrections, Materials, and Other Submissions

You may voluntarily submit corrections, documents, photographs, statistics, recollections, or other historical information by email or through another contact method we make available.

By submitting material, you represent that:

  • the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • you have the right to provide it;
  • providing it does not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or contractual rights; and
  • you are not submitting sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the requested correction or historical purpose.

You retain any ownership rights you have in your submission.

You grant Hanna Football a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, reproduce, edit, preserve, publish, and display the submitted material for purposes reasonably related to verifying records, correcting the website, documenting football history, and producing related editorial content.

We are not required to publish, use, return, or preserve a submission. We may edit submissions for accuracy, clarity, length, privacy, formatting, or consistency.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, submissions are not confidential. Personal contact information will not ordinarily be published without permission, but the historical material or factual information submitted may be incorporated into the website.

8. Corrections and Removal Requests

We may correct, update, annotate, restrict, or remove website content at our discretion.

A correction or removal request should identify the relevant page, the information at issue, the requested change, and supporting documentation.

We will review good-faith requests, particularly requests involving factual errors, copyright concerns, personal safety, or minors. Submission of a request does not guarantee removal or modification of accurate, lawfully obtained, or historically significant information.

9. Third-Party Websites and Services

The website may contain links to third-party websites, social-media services, video platforms, statistics providers, schools, news organizations, or other resources.

We do not control or endorse those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices. Visiting a third-party service is at your own risk and is governed by that service’s policies.

10. Website Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the website will always be available;
  • content will remain available indefinitely;
  • links will remain active;
  • records will be complete or error-free;
  • security vulnerabilities will never occur; or
  • the website will be compatible with every device or browser.

We may restrict access from users, systems, or automated tools that violate these Terms or threaten the website’s security or operation.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement.

Nothing on the website constitutes an official school record, recruiting evaluation, medical opinion, legal opinion, safety recommendation, or guarantee of any result.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hanna Football and its administrator, authors, contributors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

  • use of or inability to use the website;
  • reliance on website content;
  • inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • changes to schedules, records, rosters, or other data;
  • third-party websites or content;
  • unauthorized access, interruption, or data loss; or
  • any other matter relating to the website.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if the possibility of damages was known or foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Responsibility for Your Conduct

You are responsible for your use of the website and for any material you submit.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from your unlawful conduct, your violation of these Terms, or material you submit without the necessary rights or permissions.

Any legal action arising from or relating to the website or these Terms must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Anderson County, South Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement concerning your use of the website and supersede prior statements concerning that use.
